| Planting It is important to work out in detail exactly how the planting will work for an individual garden, this is usually part of the design service offered by our partner company Topp Designs. When designing the planting plan it is usually devised with the future in mind e.g. how the garden will look in 10 - 15 years time. A combination of deciduous and evergreen shrubs are used to ensure there is colour and interest throughout the year. We have our own Nursery that specialises in Ornamental Grasses, all other plants are supplied by other reputable nurseries, any plants which do not survive the initial planting will be replaced free of charge. |

| Paving We use a wide variety of paving from natural stone, brick and standard metric paving slabs. Our customers naturally have a choice but we always advise on the best paving to use in any given situation. For most paving types a concrete base is built followed by laying the paving on top using a 5 spot mortar mix. This method guarantees good solid paving for at least 20 years. |

| Woodwork We buy in ready made fencing panels and trellis work. Any constructional work required e.g. Gazebos, Arbors, Pergolas and Archways, we build on site made to measure. All bought in timber is pressure treated which is guaranteed for 15-20 years. In all cases the optimum construction method is considered prior to installation to ensure the best results on completion. |

| Water Features At Topp Gardeners we are experienced in creating all kinds of water features and have constructed many ponds, rockeries and natural pools over the years. Various methods of construction are undertaken depending on the customers specific requirements. We consider that the site and sound of water in a garden situation creates a relaxed and restful atmosphere in which to spend time. We can advise you on aquatic plants and fish if required and all of which can be supplied to complete the project. |

| Garden Maintenance To help our clients keep on top of their garden once it has been built we offer various maintenance programs to suit your requirements. We also offer garden maintenance to anyone even if they have not had a garden built by us. |
